Pat McDonnell Paint Sales Ltd have now four of the most modern paint shops in Ireland. These specialist paint shops have been developed and altered over the years to provide the consumer with the greatest range of colour and finish, and all of this was done whilst recognising that it is essential to realise that the Irish paint market is unique in terms of quality and price.

It is a far cry from February 1977 when Pat McDonnell opened his first small shop in Grattan St., Cork. This was extended and eventually moved to a more modern premises on Bachelors Quay. This was followed by the opening of what was then Ireland's biggest paint shop in Centre Park Road, Cork in 1997; Loughboy, Kilkenny in 2000 and Ireland's current no.1 paint shop at Mile Height, Tralee. Each of these stores has the most modern software available to them to provide the consumer with as much choice as possible. Tinting systems providing the newest and most exciting colours, spectrophotometers (magic eye) which have the facility to match colours on fabrics etc. and Colour Vision which allows you view your own home on screen in different colours.

Over the last twenty years many paint manufacturers have closed their Irish facilities and now import all of their products - we at Pat McDonnell's are very proud of the fact that 95% of the paint that we sell is manufactured here in Ireland supporting Irish jobs.

Since our inception we have been involved with Billy, and now Brian McLoughlin. This is a relationship which we value greatly and are delighted to be of service to one of Ireland's leading Decorating Contractors. We wish them well for the future.
